Join us helping others this year at Cleveland Roots!  We have beets, peppers, radicchio and more already started in the greenhouse and we are excited to share our news and plans for the season with you.

Through the initiative and efforts of the children of the Brecksville United Church of Christ with their Lenten project supporting Cleveland Roots, and through the generosity of many others in the community, we will be able to build a fence to protect crops at our Farm this spring!  Current plans involve building a 7-foot fence, including large access gates, that will protect crops from deer that live in the area.  That’s where you can help!

We invite you to be part of our vision to provide healthy food for those who need it!  Cleveland Roots is calling for volunteers who enjoy planting and tending to the crops we sow this summer.  We need help both in Richfield Township, where our farm is located, and in Cleveland at our greenhouse Headquarters and Community Garden throughout the 2018 growing season.  Stop by for a one-time visit or volunteer weekly or more often.  We are grateful for any time you can offer.  If you would like to organize a group to help, we would love to host you, your friends or family for a day as well.  Opportunities include planting, watering, weeding, transplanting, and even helping with our workshops, language translations, marketing, fundraising events and more.

If you are available and would like to help Cleveland Roots this year, please contact us through the link on this site, or connect with Maria at 216-256-9672 or via email at mlivers@clevelandroots.org.  Thanks for your continued support!
